Chainsaw lubricants contain extreme pressure and anti-wear additives together with high molecular weight polymers to resist breakdown and displacement of the lubricant even under high loads.

Chainsaw lubricants are recommended for chainsaw cutter bars, open roller chain lubrication, roller bearings and are also suitable for general machine lubrication where non drip characteristics are required.
